Jack Lewnard

Jack Lewnard has over 40 years experience working in a wide range of roles in the energy space.  He is currently an independent consultant.  Previously he served a 5-year term as a Program Director in DOE’s ARPA-E agency, where he managed over 70 projects.  Some example programs include REPAIR, fixing pipes from the inside with robots to avoid expensive excavation; REMEDY, reducing methane emissions from point sources in the fossil fuel chain; FLECCS, developing carbon capture systems for intermittently operating power plants; and methane pyrolysis, which produces hydrogen and solid carbon.
