Jason Nunley Jr.

Jason Nunley is the Program Director of the Center for Environmental Justice at Delaware State University, where he leads an interdisciplinary team in environmental science, policy, business, and management to provide technical assistance to communities facing environmental challenges, particularly those related to water. His work emphasizes helping communities access funding opportunities through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s State Revolving Funds (SRF) to promote sustainable infrastructure projects. With expertise in stakeholder engagement, operations management, budgeting, and both quantitative and qualitative research, Jason ensures that under-resourced communities receive essential support to tackle critical environmental issues.

A finance and investment professional, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Delaware State University and is currently a Finance Ph.D. candidate at Morgan State University, where his research examines the financial effects of corporate water management.

A competitor at heart, he applies the same strategic mindset to his hobbies, which include golfing, cycling, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
