Media and Photo Release

DSU Global Challenge 2025

By registering for and attending the DSU Global Challenge: Discovering Solutions to the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (the “Event”), you grant Delaware State University (DSU), its representatives, and affiliated organizations permission to use photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and other media captured during the Event.

Grant of Rights

You hereby grant DSU the irrevocable right to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and publish your name, image, likeness, voice, and statements in any media format, including but not limited to:

  • Photographs and video recordings
  • Social media posts and content
  • Promotional materials and advertisements
  • Website content and publications
  • Press releases and news coverage
  • Educational and training materials
  • Annual reports and fundraising materials

Scope of Use

This consent applies to all Event-related activities, including but not limited to competitions, training sessions, workshops, networking events, ceremonies, and related programming taking place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, and any associated pre-event or post-event activities.

No Compensation

You understand and agree that you will not receive financial compensation or other remuneration for the use of these materials. All rights granted herein are provided voluntarily without expectation of payment.

Duration

This authorization is valid in perpetuity unless revoked in writing. To revoke this consent, you must submit a written request to globalchallenge@desu.edu. Revocation will apply only to future use and will not affect materials already published or distributed.

Ownership

All photographs, videos, and recordings taken during the Event are the sole property of Delaware State University.

Voluntary Participation

Participation in the DSU Global Challenge constitutes your acknowledgment and acceptance of this Media Release and Consent Form. If you do not wish to grant these rights, please contact the Event organizers at globalchallenge@desu.edu prior to the Event to make alternative arrangements.

Opt-Out Option

If you wish to opt out of being photographed or recorded, you must notify Event staff upon arrival and wear the designated opt-out identifier that will be provided.
