Current Responsibility:
Solomon Adote is a distinguished cybersecurity leader with more than 25 years of IT experience. Currently, he serves as the group Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Phillips and Cohen group of companies. In this role, he not only leads the charge to strengthen the company’s cybersecurity infrastructure, safeguarding sensitive company and client data, he is also responsible for their Information Technology (IT) program. His responsibilities extend beyond implementing advanced risk management frameworks, enhancing compliance with regulatory standards, deploying industry-leading threat detection services, and delivering a Zero-Trust aligned information security strategy to delivery world-class resilient technology services to the business.

Extensive Experience & Expertise
Previously, Solomon was the Chief Security Officer (CSO) for the State of Delaware, where he designed and implemented a comprehensive state-wide cybersecurity program to protect constituent services and data, across all three branches of government: Executive, Judiciary and Legislative. His extensive career includes leading global information security teams for a multibillion-dollar agricultural sciences company with manufacturing, sales and business offices across over 100 sites globally. He also has extensive experience in the retail, entertainment and digital marketing industry as a technical cybersecurity leader in QVC Group, Inc. He has a proven track record or creating sophisticated information security programs that aligns to unique business missions and a history of developing security operations centers, security engineering services and governance, risk and compliance programs.

Education & Recognition
Solomon is a PhD candidate in Cybersecurity Management at Nova Southeastern University and holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Technology from Regis University. He also has a robust portfolio of industry certifications, including CISM, CISSP, CCNP-Security, C|EH, and SANs Firewall Security Analyst. He has been recognized as a global leader in identity security, most recently as one of “The Identity 25” Titans. He was also awarded the

STATE CYBERSECURITY LEADER OF THE YEAR by StateScoop, which highlighted his commitment to securing state systems and his strategic vision for IT security. Solomon is also a sought-after speaker who has presented at numerous public and private sector conferences.
